Forged steel gate valve refers to a valve whose closing element (gate) moves vertically along the centerline of the passage. Forged steel gate valves are mainly used for cutting off in pipelines. Forged steel gate valve is a widely used type of valve, generally used for cut-off devices with a diameter of DN ≤ 50. Forged steel gate valves are quite common. The closing component of forged steel gate valve is the gate plate, and the opening and closing is a valve that moves vertically along the channel axis of the gate plate. It is mainly used in pipelines to cut off the medium, that is, in a fully open or fully closed state. Not suitable for regulating flow and transporting mud media. This product has the advantages of low fluid resistance, low torque required for opening and closing, and simple structure. It can be used in pipelines with bidirectional medium flow. When fully opened, the sealing surface is less eroded by the working medium compared to globe valves.
